Industry Forum

Description

Industry Forum consists of presentations and panel discussions aimed at research topics important to industrial and business related IoT issues. It will also provide detailed technical information about key technologies and business innovations essential for developing IoT-related hardware, software, systems, and operations. The presentations will address the practical aspects of IoT implementation and experiences from real-life applications or actual deployments. The emphasis is on accelerating the adoption and penetration of IoT solutions, lessons learned from deployments and end-to-solutions, and delivering value to society.

The theme of Industry Forum for the 8th IEEE World Forum on Internet of Things (WF-IoT) 2022 will be “6G Development and Beyond IoT Services in the Digital Economics Era”. All Sessions in the Industry Forum have been categorized into Five Tracks as follows:
  • Track 1: Smart Vertical Services
  • Track 2: Beyond Internet of Things
  • Track 3: 5G and Beyond
  • Track 4: Cloud, IoT, Security, and Quantum Transformation
  • Track 5: Digital Economics: Sustainable and Thrive in the Digital Era
All sessions which under the five Tracks are meant for audiences consisting of industry, academia, the public sector, the research community, practitioners, and end-users of IoT. The Internet of Things (IoT) describes the network of physical objects—“things”—that are embedded with sensors, computing devices, distributed software, cloud/Fog/Edge computing and Networking. The Industry Forum will cover the breadth of activities, technologies, applications, business innovations in IoT reflecting the vast range of interests and investment in IoT
