Takefumi Yamada received the B.E. and M.E. degrees from Tokyo University of Science.From April 2013, he joined the Toyota Industries Corporation, Aichi, Japan. He develops software for motor controller of Industrial vehicle, especially forklift. His major is embedded software development process for functional safety. Regarding as IEEE volunteer, from 2011 he got IEEE membership. From 2012-2013 he was chair of Student Branch in Tokyo University of science. From 2014-2019 he created Nagoya YP as vice-chair with excellent engineers and researchers. In 2019 he was chair in Nagoya YP. From 2020 he is YP coordinator in IEEE Japan Council. He hold IEEE Japan SYWL in 2021 and in 2022 as chair.

Speaker 1: Dr.Osamu Toda, assistant Senior Engineer Big Data-based Service Development Sec. Digital Core Technologies Development Div. Corporate DX Promotion Group, Meidensha Corporation

Osamu Toda received the B.E. and M.E. degrees from Niigata University, Niigata, and Ph.D. degree in Department of Electronics and Electrical Engineering at Keio University, Kanagawa, Japan, in 2011, 2013 and 2017 respectively. From April 2016, he joined the ICT Products and Services Management Group, Meidensha Corporation, Shizuoka, Japan. His research interests in the university are mathematical adaptive signal processing, nonlinear adaptive filtering, and their applications to sensor network systems.His work in the corporation is a research and development of heavy electrical machineries with the signal processing, machine learning and IoT technologies.

 

Speaker 2: Dr.Kenji TEI, associate professor at Faculty of Science and Engineering in Waseda University

Kenji TEI received the B.E and D.E degrees in information and computer science and the Ph.D. degree in engineering from Waseda University, Japan, in 2003, 2005, and 2008, respectively. He joined the Department of Information and Computer Science, Waseda University, as a research assistant. From 2008 to 2010, he was an assistant professor in the Media Network Center at Waseda University, and a project assistant professor at the National Institute of Informatics. He was an assistant professor and an associate professor at the National Institute of Informatics and SOKENDAI, from 2010 to 2015 and from 2015 to 2018, respectively. Since 2018, he has been an associate professor in the Faculty of Science and Engineering at Waseda University.

 

Speaker 3: Dr.LEO Hwa Chiang, Director, IEEE Singapore Officer

Responsible for IEEE’s Singapore regional operations, long-term strategy and serve as the head of the repository for all registrations and compliance filings within the Asia-Pacific region. Lead IEEE’s support of geo-unit volunteers operating in the Asia Pacific region. Identify opportunities to further IEEE membership programs in the region and to promote IEEE Societies and their membership growth in the region. Collaborate with IEEE offices and activities in the Asia Pacific region on the implementation of IEEE’s Asia-Pacific business plan and lead the programs and activities conducted within the region. Ensure activities of IEEE Asia-Pacific Limited are conducted in a lawful, professional and ethical manner, while safeguarding the interest and branding of the IEEE, its products, services and programs.

 

Speaker 4: Dr.He Li, Director, Assistant Professor with Department of Information and Electronic Engineering, Muroran Institute of Technology

He Li received the B.S., M.S. degrees in Computer Science and Engineering from Huazhong University of Science and Technology in 2007 and 2009, respectively, and Ph.D. degree in Computer Science and Engineering from The University of Aizu in 2015. He is currently an Assistant Professor with Department of Information and Electronic Engineering, Muroran Institute of Technology, Japan. In 2018, he is selected as a Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) Excellent Young Researcher. His research interests include cloud computing and software defined networking. Dr. Li serves as an Associate Editor for Human-centric Computing and Information Sciences (HCIS), as well as a Guest Associate Editor for IEICE Transactions on Information and Systems. He is the recipient of IEEE TCSC Outstanding Ph.D. Dissertation Award 2016. In 2019, he received the Award for Excellence (Early Career Researcher) from IEEE TCSC. Dr. Li serves as the chair of IEEE Sapporo Section Young Professionals Affinity Group.
